Hi, my name is Lucas Clayton, and I’ve been a physical therapist here in Omaha for the past three years. I’m also a part-time coach at Big O Fitness, where my journey began back in 2018 when I first joined as a member while in physical therapy school. Now, I’m excited to give back by bringing advanced fitness testing to the community.

 

My endurance story started in 2022 when “Zone 2” training was becoming popular, and I began blending it into my CrossFit workouts. That curiosity led me deeper into the science of running, where my academic background allowed me to dive into the research. By 2024, I discovered Hyrox, a competition that fits my strengths perfectly. Since then, I’ve been training specifically for it, using lactate and VOâ‚‚ max testing every three months to measure progress, adjust training blocks, and ensure my preparation is as effective as possible.

 

I’m excited to partner with Go Far Performance to bring these same testing methods to athletes at Big O. Whether your goal is to improve performance, track progress, or get a clearer picture of your fitness, these tests give you actionable insights to train smarter and reach your goals faster.
